“I am traveling around the world to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The reason why I am here has to do with the Albanians, specifically with the special woman, Mother Teresa who served in India. I have traveled to 42 states. “Today I am in Saranda and then I will travel to Tirana, I want to meet with the President”, said Nitin.
Nitin walks for about 6-9 hours traversing about 30 km every day on foot. The purpose of his trip is to get acquainted with the traditions of the places where he travels and to convey the message of Mahadma Ghandi, “to see peace in each other.”
