Rama Leaves For Turkey On Wednesday, He Will Meet With Erdogan

On Wednesday, January 5, Prime Minister Edi Rama leaves for Turkey to pay a two-day visit.

Sources suggest that the head of the Albanian government will also have a meeting with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

During this meeting in Turkey, developments in the region as well as bilateral relations between the two countries are expected to be discussed.

A few hours before the departure, Rama had a telephone conversation with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dedias on exactly the same issues.

Although official Tirana and Athens have agreed to turn to the international court over the sea issue, there is still no decision on when to turn to The Hague. (Oranews)
