Another Albanian Doctoral Student At The University Of Zurich

Albanian Donika Sejdiu has managed to be accepted for a doctorate at the University of Zurich in the field of Bio-Medicine. Among the 43 candidates, the Albanian Sejdiu managed to convince the commission that she was the right candidate.

More and more Albanian youth in Switzerland are proving themselves by achieving success in various areas of life.

Donika Sejdiu is one of them. From January 1, 2021 Donika Sejdiu joins the doctoral students of the University of Zurich in the branch of Bio-Medicine (Bio -Medicine). After successfully completing her Bachelor and Master studies at the same University, she managed to be accepted as a doctoral student of this faculty.

Donika Sejdiu was born in 1995 in Zurich, Switzerland, she finished primary school in Walenstadt and high school in Sargans in the canton of St. Gallen. Gallen in Switzerland, and Bachelor and Master studies at the University of Zurich. Although born and raised in Switzerland, she speaks with admiration of their parents’ birthplace (Kumanovo – Northern Macedonia), which she considers her birthplace.

It is also worth mentioning that Donika Sejdiu, in addition to knowing the local language, German and English, she is fluent in her mother tongue – Albanian, because she was also a student of the Albanian School in Walenstadt, Switzerland.
